ESPN hurting some feelings
Dave, Linden: Hey Mark I've had an agrument with another poster about who's conference is stronger from top to bottom... Personally I think it's the Big 10 and he thinks it's the SEC by a decent margin... Settle it which conference is better???
Mark Schlabach: You're not going to like my answer. Top to bottom, I think the SEC is clearly the best league in the country. It's not even close. Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU are top 10 teams. Tennessee is very good. Alabama is undefeated, but the Tide won't stay that way for long. Arkansas is pretty good, despite the season opening loss to USC. They're better with Mitch Mustain at QB. SC, Ole Miss, MIss. St., Vanderbilt, Ky. all have problems. Wildcats are better than expected. Ohio State and Michigan are good, Wisconsin and Michigan State are better than expected, and Penn State is above-average this year. The rest of the league is medicore or worse.
