A source of inspiration
It's been about 36 hours now, and I still can't get over how inspired I felt after watching Boise State win the Fiesta Bowl. They're a team that's fought for years, barely lose any games and every year their acheivements are utterly disregarded by the NCAA elite. Their head coach left, so everyone assumed they'd go away and return to mediocrity this year. They were regarded as some red-headed step-child that lucked their way into the BCS.
The tenacity, the heart, the belief, the courage they showed in that game was amazing. They never panicked and never gave up. They left it all out there, win or lose. The emotion and joy after that win was so genuine. Zabransky might have a way to go with his skills, but he has the intangibles and a lot of heart and he's very athletic. If the Saints drafts or sign Zabransky or any Boise State players next year, it'd be an easy sell for me. Well, one think would take this game off my mind ... Go LSU! Beat the Irish!!! |

Geez, was there any doubt as to the outcome of the Sugar Bowl. What a second half for the Defense. Only allowing 30 yards. I know ND is over rated and shouldn't be in a BCS bowl, but that is still pretty good. I guess that's the first time that Quinn has faced a "real" defense?
