Oh, I'm fine with us at #2. It will be that much more sweeter when we bury USC in the dome.

Being #2 overall is plenty of love. Here's why we're #2 though, the schedule. It's FAR more likely we may lose a game in the SEC as opposed to that cake schedule USC has. No one on USC's schedule SHOULD beat them, while we have at least Florida that could beat us, Auburn always plays us tough, South Carolina is up and coming, and we are integrating starters at all key offensive positions as opposed to USC. So while I feel LSU is #1, I don't think national sportswriters will put them there, well, not enough of them to change the vote, cause of our greater potential for a loss. If we had USC's schedule, we'd probably be #1. It's stupid for them to have polls this early anyway, but they've repeatedly proven their unwillingness to budge at the top once they render a ranking, unless there is a loss.
