LSU Wins 34 - 9, In Spite Of Itself
At the start of Saturday's game against Tulane it was obvious that the Tigers were definitely looking ahead to their matchup against the Florida Gators the following week. The offensive line looked like the Saints there for awhile, there were numerous presnap penalties, holding calls, and they couldn't block anybody. LSU had 15 penalties for 91 yards, and the O-Line allowed 6 sacks, they made Tulane look like Florida, Alabama, or Auburn in the first half. Then reality kick in, the Tigers woke up and realized who they were playing against and quickly put them to rest. And on the weekend that will always be known as UPSET WEEKEND where five of the top ten teams went down in defeat, #3 Oklahoma, #4 Florida, #5 West Virginia(Friday), #7 Texas, #10 Florida all didn't survive this weekend, but our beloved LSU TIGERS did, so I give them much credit. So what, they over looked an inferior opponent for one half, at lest they came to their senses and prevailed convincingly. Now it's time to prepare for a extremely pissed off Florida Gators team next Saturday, GO T-I-G-E-R-S, TIGERS!
