Re: Bye BCS Championship
Well I guess winning the SEC Championship will have to do for Tiger fans (if they win that is), it was fun while it lasted.
I would have ran Flynn or Hester into the end zone before passing, the chances would have been much better getting the 2 points than the pass. Oh well, we should still get a good bowl especially if we win the SEC Championship |

Re: Bye BCS Championship
What a bummer! They've been skating week after week and it finally caught up with them. They have been letting teams hang around and then squeaking out wins against inferior opponents. They looked sluggish out there. Its amazing how both teams suddenly got efficient into the overtimes. Maybe because the defenses were worn down by that time, especially the Tigers after giving up 300+ grunt yards. They controlled their own destiny and let it get away. Now the SEC title seems like 3rd place. I hope they don't play it from that perspective.

Re: Bye BCS Championship
The defense looked like the Saints defense. They couldn't stop anybody. Offense was inconsistant, does that sound familier? Made me so mad I got drunk.

Re: Bye BCS Championship
I think the defense has been in a steady decline since the begining of the season. Injuries, Stamina, who knows why but they have been giving up more yards and getting less turnovers in the later part of the season. I never though of LSU as a high power offense. Too many Running backs and not enough reliable receivers. Miles I believe outplayed himself.

Re: Bye BCS Championship
The defense has looked worn out for weeks. Except for LA Tech, they clearly didn't look like a Top 5 defense.
Let me be the first to wish McFadden a wonderful pro career. I'm tired of seeing him beat up the Tigers. |
