this is a discussion within the College Community Forum; As an alumni of Louisiana Tech I am hoping beyond hope for a radical upset. That would make this year absolutely perfect (assuming the Saints close the year 15-0)...

Re: Go Bulldogs!!!
Back when I was in school at Tech, Shaq was playing for LSU and the Bulldogs rolled into town and beat a heavily favored LSU squad.
Talk about a great memory. It ain't impossible. Unlikely as hell but not impossible. Tech has done pretty well this year for a football team that is probably 6 inches shorter at every position except waterboy. |

Re: Go Bulldogs!!!
I'm pretty sure even the waterboy is at least 5 inches shorter. I can see Tech beating LSU at basketball even when mr. lazy Shaq was there. But football. Unlikely as hell is still too likely.
Now my McNeese State team I thought had an unlikely as hell chance of beating Tulane. And of course they didn't. |

I go am currently a Tech student right now (33 years old and my 2nd time around). I've always been more of an LSU football fan, but all of us at Tech are proud of our Dawgs for putting up a great fight against the Tigers. It has been a disappointing season, because there were high expectations after last year's bowl appearance. However, they played two Top 10 teams the last two games and gave them both all they could handle. Coach Dooley has this program going in the right direction.
