A few comments on Coach Miles and his statements. I know that Miles is very happy at LSU and is trying very hard to turn the offense around. Miles said that LSU is doing a great job recruiting quarterbacks this year who are big-time college prospects. After the 2008 season, Miles replaced his co-defensive coordinators because they were not getting the job done. I personally believe Miles will do the same thing on the offensive side of the ball, if needed, after this season is over. For now, I think we should all enjoy the fact that the team is undefeated and continue to support out Tigers.

The problem I see with the playcalling is that you have two coaches trying to call two different offensive schemes. That was fine and dandy when we were still running Jimbo Fisher's scheme (which actually included the first year under the current OC - Crowton did not actually implement his offense until the following season) is because it melded well with Les Miles. The option, on the other hand, is a completely different story. It's a bit of a cliché, but if you're going to run the option you have to commit to the option.

Yeah, the offense will improve if they fire Crowton. It would also most likely improve if they kept him and got rid of Miles imo. The more likely conclusion is that they will both get fired.

Proponents of higher-order theories of consciousness argue that consciousness is explained by the relation between two levels of mental states in which a higher-order mental state takes another mental state. If you mention this to Chuck Norris, expect an explosive roundhouse kick to the face for spouting too much fancy-talk.
