Last Monday, coming back to Shreveport from New Orleans (after we beat the Panthers) and LSU won Over Tennesee 16-14, all I heard was "Les MIles is overPaid."
One caller wanted Dick Sabin back -- I Don't understand; The moment in 2007 on espn when Les made it clear he was staying AT LSU That sold me. The one caller Monday got to me. I had a person here in July tell me "the Saints are for real; Coach miles needs to go" I replied "in the days the SAINTS Were losing, I believed and never gave up Hope. we should do the same for LSU."
But tonight after this game, think of the Miami game last year -- that was the feeling tonight! I wear SAINTS SUN -Fri & LSU Sat at work year round!

LSU fans have a way of being over critical of their coaches. Some NEVER liked Les Miles and NEVER will... even after the BCS Championship.

I find radio programs are just becoming trolls sometimes paid to stir the pot. I heard the same programs you did and it's just annoying.

I have my problems with LSU and don't drink the cool aid, but seriously, they really out played Florida today, every point Fla scored LSU GAVE them and I think the offense is coming around.

LSU - BEST DEFENSE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. PERIOD.

LSU fans will ALWAYS be the same... then again Florida fans turn on their coaches... if Saban has a losing season watch Bama fans cry and scream.

I don't understand, Lee never had the job. Lee should be the starting QB at LSU and Jefferson should be used to mix it up at times. For me it's a no brainer, for Gary Crotard it's apparently impossible to comprehend.

First freaking time they let the guy (Lee) play the WHOLE drive into the 10 yard line without substituting Jefferson and what does Lee do? He was freaking calm and threw Joe Montana style pass. Jefferson looks like a deer in headlights.

If they would have put Jefferson in on that last drive within the 10 yard line, LSU would have lost, run out of time and/or Jefferson would NEVER make that pass Lee threw. PERIOD.

The only two problems I have with Les Miles and the coaching staff is their lack of clock management and the lack of equal opportunity for Jarrett Lee.

They always seem to waste too much time and/or burn time-outs unnecessarily. And it has cost them in the past. Last year, the Arkansas game comes to mind.

You are right on the money Halo. I too think Lee should be getting most of the snaps with Jefferson coming in in certain situations. The only time Jefferson looks good throwing the ball is when he rolls out of the pocket. He is almost always on the mark in that situation. But when he takes a 4 or 5 step drop, stops and starts looking down field to throw I hold my breath.

I hope they realize how well the offense moves when Lee's in the game. It was a great win but I was very disappointed with the predictability of the play calling. Run, run, pass... that how it went until they were forced to throw the ball on third downs. Defense played great... couple of flags, kick off return, and Peterson's fumble led to Florida's points.

I'll take the "run, run" part of it. Eventually Florida figured they would stuff the middle which led to the wide open passes to Tolliver.

Much rather run, run vs. Jefferson pass (incomplete/int), Jefferson run up the middle (nowhere)... etc.

If they aren't going to play Lee, give me Ridley over Jefferson any day.

Don't get me wrong... I love it when we play smash mouth football. But with all the running, slip in a play action pass every now and then. It's like we don't even have a play action pass in our playbook... take advantage of our running game and take some shots down field earlier on downs. With that said, our offense is opening up more with Lee and I'm excited to see how we can continue to grow from this.

Just something else I'd like to mention... I read a lot of stuff on how non-mobile Lee is and I disagree. He actually looks quite athletic and mobile in my pocket in my opinion. He's not going to break a 83 yarder by any means, but on those 3 or 4 yard runs Jefferson is giving us, I don't see how Lee couldn't.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

I take issue with some of the play calling in the second half. I feel like Crowton was trying to fool Florida because when Lee was in we would run on 1st and 2nd down a lot and end up with a 3rd and 7 or 8. Then a couple of times Jefferson came in and we would try a couple of passing plays. I was very pleased with the turn of events last night as it seemed the coaching staff took the bull by the horns and righted the ship to make sure that there was not a repeat of last week, but Crowton's play calling sometimes baffles the fire out of me.

the speed of lsu's defense was the dominating factor. demps or no demps. the play calling was good enough to win against florida. the defense could carry the team to the championship game. les miles well he won
