It was obvious we needed to take more shots down field and run our traditional pro style offense we've been running. Whether or not Lee would have been effective or not, we'll never know. What we do know is that we needed a spark and make more plays down field... something Lee is better at. There was nothing to lose by making the change.
Just because Lee was ineffective against Bama the first time around didn't mean he would fail the second time around. Look what happened to Jefferson. |
