Yeah, upon further review, I think the kid went the path of least resistance. His parents wanted him closer to home and he's probably got a better chance of immediate playing time at Notre Dame then LSU (?). He's supposed to be the third coming of Peyton Manning (the second being Andrew Luck).
IDK, I don't see all the fuss .... we all know Michigan is gonna' be National Champs next season .... or MSU, either or, LoL! .... you guys know I'm joking, right? |

That's what I was thinking that he figured he wasn't going to start in front of Mettinburger. One of my compadres up here brought up the whole 'red-shirt' argument too and the fact Notre Dame doesn't officially red-shirt players either. Seems like Gunner is in a hurry to get some exposure and to the NFL, to me anyway.
