LSU Bama
Giving Bama the edge. It would take LSU's defense scoring a couple of times to make it a game. Mettenberger's completion percentage is hovering around 45% against the the best teams they have played so far. That is not going to work against Bama. 27-14.

Re: LSU Bama
The big day... hoping for some soberness to enjoy one hell of a game. Death Valley on a Saturday night versus Bama... the place will be rockin'. Hopefully with the home field advantage, we'll be able to squeak one out.
Though we were not successful throwing the ball the other week, at least we opened up the playbook. Hopefully we learned our lesson from the NCG and let 'er rip. It's time to shine Mett. |

Re: LSU Bama
Crazy thing is both teams records show they fair better on the road against each other so the one advantage LSU has is a disadvantage as of late. I do believe though LSU is the only team that can stop them. If that happens we could see another BCS rematch. As much as people said they didn't want to see it the ratings said something entirely different.

Re: LSU Bama
I just know I'm sick of hearing how LSU can "save the country from SEC overload." Gimme a break, a bunch of SEC teams give each other one loss and the voters wet their panties putting Notre Dame & Kansas State in the title game. WEAK.
That said ... ROLL TIDE ROLL!!! |

Re: LSU Bama
LSU's receivers....they are going to have to start hauling in passes beyond 3 yards. 2 big drops but the run game is moving the chains.

Re: LSU Bama
Yeah, LSU is moving the ball on the ground ... we're not used to that!

Re: LSU Bama
We do indeed have a game. Bama has done nothing 2nd half.
