Iconic Howard’s Rock at Clemson vandalized
Clemson University‘s iconic Howard’s Rock was vandalized earlier this month and police are investigating, the school announced Wednesday night.
According to a news release from the school, a small portion of The Rock was broken off of its pedestal after vandals broke the casing that protects the artifact. There was no damage to the actual pedestal that supports the rock. Police say Howard’s Rock was vandalized sometime June 2 or June 3. “We take vandalism, especially of such an important part of our history, very seriously,” athletics director Dan Radakovich said in a statement. Clemson football players rub The Rock before running down the hill during the football team’s entrance into Memorial Stadium for each home game. Iconic Howard I hate to read stuff like this. Its just as bad as when that idiot Bama-fan posioned dem trees at Auburn. |
W.T. Sherman is my favorite General. After all he did order Atlanta to be burned to the ground.

I'm with you, Crusader.
I being a die hard LSU fan hate; and I mean hate Ole Miss. the thought of going to "The Grove" and screwing it up has never crossed my mind. I just don't understand some of these people's mindset. Hate to hear this kind of stuff happening. |
