Incidentally, I lived/worked in Ypsilanti (pronounced Yips-a-lan-tee) in the early '80s during Eastern's infamous 88-game losing streak ... back when they were still the "Hurons" and it didn't insult anyone's ethnicity ... dated a member of the marching band and got free tickets to the games, not like anyone was buying 'em since they were never actually in a game ... Ypsi was a tough town even back then and I often preferred to commute from the eastside even though I maintained an apartment just around the corner from where this guy was shot.
It's too bad, this guy survives the south side of Chicago only to get gunned down during a B&E in a crappy little town like Ypsi, . |
