Alabama OC Doug Nussmeier to Michigan

As a Wolverine fan, I am incredibly happy with this hire. He's an upgrade over Al Borges in every way possible.

We really hit a home run here, imo!

Thats just amazing to me. Put 7 guys in the pros every year, projected to lose 8 this year, lose the winningest QB in Alabama history, lose our OC, and we might only win 10 games.

Lurking around a couple Bama message boards, a lot of posters don't really seem to mind that Nuss is leaving.

From an outsiders perspective, it seems like an A+ hire for Michigan. Nuss has an absolutely tremendous track record with QBs, and I never really thought his playcalling was all that bad whenever I watched Bama. He's a good recruiter as well.

Watching him for two years though, you probably know a lot more about the guy than I do. Was he a good OC for y'all?
