Watched that game ... was rooting for the Bulldogs, <sigh> ... gotta' tell you though, that Egg Bowl trophy is the best looking college trophy I think I've seen ... if I was playing college ball, I'd compete for that. bet.

Re: Miss St Falls to Ole Miss
State's safeties (like they have all year) sunk them on those long plays, and Mullen's play-calling was pretty bad.
Dak better come back next year for his senior season or he is gonna be disappointed and/or whichever NFL team dares to draft him will be disappointed. He was exposed against Bama & against Oxford as a "System QB" and is predictable as hell. His play on the road (except for the LSU game) has been pretty bad. Dak is not an NFL-caliber QB by any stretch. And we still have the better record overall and in the SEC. Oxford can still suck it. |

Ole Miss played a heck of game. I was actually happy to see them bounce back. After Miss St fell i wanted to see a bama loss still.
If Miss St could not pull off the fairy tail run, then i sure did not want to see bama in it Go Mizzo |

Re: Miss St Falls to Ole Miss
They're gonna' wind up with the same debate(s) over "who's best" as they did with the old system. The only question is gonna' be which system makes the most money.
In a head-to-head matchup, a 2-loss SEC team would probably beat most (if not all) non-SEC teams out there. JMO. . |
