And now for your updated SEC football arrests standings. . .

College football's arrest season - the time between the end of spring games and the start of preseason camp in August - got off to a roaring start Saturday.

Just a week after Florida's spring game, Gators' redshirt freshman cornerback J.C. Jackson was arrested for an alleged robbery.

Gainesville (Fla.) police said Jackson entered an acquaintance's apartment Saturday with two men. Despite the fact Jackson left the apartment and someone allegedly pulled out a gun to take two video game consoles and $382 from the apartment's three residents, police still charged him with robbery with a firearm.

He was booked into the Alachua (Fla.) County jail Sunday on a charge of robbery with a firearm and held on $150,000 bond.

According to arrestnation.com, which has tracked the arrests/citations/charges of athletes in college and pro sports since August 2010, Jackson is the 13th SEC football player arrested since school re-convened in January, including three Alabama players arrested in a four-day span in late March.

Here's the updated SEC arrest standings (since August 2010 by arrestnation.com) heading into the bulk of arrest season:
