Performances like yesterday make you scratch your head about how games like last week happen so often with this team over the years. But I'll enjoy these kinds of wins whenever they come. It sure was nice.
Talent, as usual, is not a problem. Being aggressive had everything to do with how this team played yesterday, in my opinion. Between Miles and Orgeron, there has been too much passiveness and unwillingness to stomp on their opponent when they get a decent lead. Yesterday was a complete reversal of that mentality and we all saw what happened. I hope this taught the staff a lesson about playing to win instead of playing not to lose. If they keep the aggressive approach, they have a legitimate shot to beat anyone. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
