Re: Bama @ LSU
I'm sure that some idiot around here thinks that LSU can win 18-1....

Re: Bama @ LSU
This is a good LSU team that plays to it's competition. Give Alabama their due, they are very good, but this will be their first real test and this is Tiger Stadium in primetime. Anybody who thinks Alabama is just going to come in here and roll LSU is severely underestimating this team and the emotion and energy that will be in that stadium, in my humble opinion. They are also overestimating Alabama just a bit, considering their schedule.
Again, that doesn't mean that this isn't possibly Saban's best team, but people are inflating their expectations of that team, in my opinion. It should be a really good game, and we'll find out what both teams are made of. |
Re: Bama @ LSU
I'll take the points. Death Valley on Saturday night should be electrifying. Hopefully we can make some magic happen.

Re: Bama @ LSU
LSU also has the "Magic" helmets. Last time they had magic gear was Denardo and the Chinese Bandit uniforms. Severe underdogs in that one and pulled it off.

Re: Bama @ LSU
LSU secondary will have to step up BIG time.
The Tua kid can flat out spin it. I don't believe he's thrown a INT all season. |

If they can do that, it will be a really good game. |
Re: Bama @ LSU
No matter what happens, this is the best team LSU has fielded in a long time against Bama and likely the only one with a real shot at all this year. I think nobody is being a homer, odds are not great but they aren't horrible either. It should get interesting, mainly because the stacking the box thing on LSU is no longer valid.

Proud of LSU. James Carville is right. Players get sidelined at the most convenient times. Not a conspiracy, happens all the time with Bama to opposing teams. Meanwhile, they hit the LSU QB out of bounds and no call. They didn't get away with it either. It was ignored.

Re: Bama @ LSU
LSU pi$$es me off!

Re: Bama @ LSU
At some point, LSU will have to find and develop a QB in Baton Rouge. They'll never beat the likes of Bama with "game managers" or college transfers (Mettingberger, Etling & now JJ Burrow).

Re: Bama @ LSU
LSU should be ashamed.

Re: Bama @ LSU
Just figured why Payton shys away from LSU I have no place to hide after this shamble of offense turr. Rubb Bolle

Burrow looks bad sorry he just and average guy when he had time which was never he panics and doesn’t let things develop. Love me some tigers but I’m not ashame that bama is best in college football period may be best offense ever put on a field oh ya thanks satan always wonder what it would have been I tell u this he would have never left LSU he would have a statue in from of that stadium bama has one there not going to take down for him second fiddle always down there. They’ll name a street for him |
Re: Bama @ LSU
Saban sucked in the NFL. At least we can all hang our hat on that one. Likely the worst NFL coach of all time. Even his own players called him trash.

Re: Bama @ LSU
The defense, though it wasn't their finest effort at tackling last night, really did about as well as I hoped and thought they could (more pressure would also have been nice). I was expecting that the offense would also attack bama's secondary more and move the chains enough to give the defense a rest. But they didn't. Again.
The o-line didn't help matters at all, but you have to take more shots down the field. There are always so many guys in the box, you can't tell me that you don't have some one on one matchups to exploit. We see other teams do it to them, at times, but never LSU. And there is plenty of talent here. But, as K Major said, LSU has to develop a quarterback at some point. And they also have to be willing to take chances. They tried (and failed) to kick a field in the 4th quarter down 22 points. That is called giving up. Win or lose, you don't wave the white flag like that. |
Re: Bama @ LSU
The only shining point for LSU was the defense; I put this loss 100% at the feet of the coaches and the offense.

Re: Bama @ LSU
Well we all knew that LSU would lose by at least 14 but 29-0... a ZIPPO?

Re: Bama @ LSU
Need to be rid of that rpo bs..They weren't even fooling the blind with that crap.
Better get a real offensive coordinator;Beef up the O-line and unlock the mystery at QB. Bama d-line is stout to say the least. |

Re: Bama @ LSU
Shameful as hell. Should have went deep in the playbook. That would have been the best possible shot. Turn the playbook upside down. If it didn't work nobody would have been that upset.
