broussard done for the year
yep, the tigers lost starting rb alley broussard in a "light" scrimmage sat. evening.... i wish the young man a speedy, healthy return to the club in a year.... the silver lining is that the tigers are very deep at that position, so while you hate to see that happen to a talent like that, we do have others that can help soften the blow of his injury

RE: broussard done for the year
Wow... that's a pretty big blow. Hopefully Vincent can regain his 2003 form and show why he was considered a Heisman hopeful prior to the 2004 season. We don't have a bruiser anymore...
Vincent, Addai, and Carey will be fine... though Alley would have made it so much better. |

Reading LSU's season preview on ESPN, I just found this out. Damn I am glad we have good depth at RB, but you are right papz, there goes our bruiser. Broussard was speed and power. Vincent needs to step up like now, although Addai is more than capable as well.

Didn't take Vincent very long to get into Saban's doghouse. Hopefully, things will be different with the new regime.
