Remember those who Served
...and those who are currently serving.
My father was in the Navy for 6 years in the '50's. He then went on to serve in the army for another 20 years. He fought in Korea and in Vietnam. He passed away a few years ago and his proudest achievement was serving his country. He was buried with military honors in Muskogee, Oklahoma. We have members, current and past, of the armed forces that post here. Let's all recognize those people, and the other's that we know. Those that we see in our everyday lives that go without our thank you's every day. Today is their day. If you know a vet, you DO approach them and say thank you. Hug them. Shake their hand. Ask about their experiences, and listen. Those men and women are owed a debt greater than we can ever repay. |
C'mon Man...
