Horses looking for new homes

My GF and I are part of a non-profit organization that seeks to find homes for sanctuary and rescue horses. Right now we have 45 horses listed that really need good ownership and care. Spread the word if you know someone who might be interested - all the info is on the website.

Good for you! I don't have the space out here in Cali. We've got three back in Louisiana though. Is this part of the Mustang rescue that's been going on the last few years?

This group of horses might not be related to the mustang rescue you speak of - these horses are from a Morgan breeder that has run into financial difficulties.

neugey, that's alot of pony's. i really can't help but put the word out here. i don't live far from a stock yard that has a bad reputation about sending horsres to mexico for slaughter. then florida is getting a bad rap for the same issues according to 60 minutes last sunday. there was a lady in north louisiana taking in running thoroughbred mares only. she was trying to get some out of harms way. good luck neugey.

Seriously man, this is awesome. If I ever do have the land, something like this would probably be the first addition to the family.

I pushed my GF to name one of the horses Brees ... I gotta working on her spelling LOL. Luckily he found a home!
