Tis the season of the hook and rod

So. Since most of the fresh water fish are spawning...

Just wondered who here is a big fisherman.

I myself am an AVID BASS fisherman. I can't get enough of it. I even fish when it is cold. My biggest bass was just a pinch over 9lbs. Still on the quest for the world record.

So, what do you fish for? Have any fishing stories?

I love to fish. I'm not avid - nor am I very skilled, but there are few better ways to spend a day.

I once caught a prehistoric looking thing that had teeth like squirrel. I was somewhere in Mississippi at the time. They called it a "Sheep Head"...evil looking thing. Trash fish I do believe, but I can tell you I thought I had hooked on to Moby Dick himself. The damn thing nearly dragged me out of the boat. LOL
