Have any of guys heard that the end of the world is coming this Saturday 5-21-11. I heard this crap on TV and there's people aroud my job talking about it. I don't get it to stuff like this but I wanted to heard you guys opinion on the matter.

Humans have been killing mother earth for a long time.

She is pissed. Look at all the earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornado activity, etc...

Bee populations are being depleted. It is gonna be kinda hard to grow food with no bees.

The USA cut down 95% of our old growth forests many decades ago. The foresight of a trainwreck, basically.

Humankind has done a lot of good, but wow we've blown it at the same time.

I'm more of a realist than someone who believes in Mayan Calendar / Nostradumbass predictions. Voodoo don't work either.

Didn't watch the video, but apparently there are people who are so convinced that they are about to be raptured right up out of 'hea that they are paying people to take care of their pets after they are gone.

Strangely enough though some of these wackjobs are actually good businesspeople so I'm sure they have it set up with a banker to disburse the funds once a month or whatever.

My idea is to build a business that will take care of these people's pets FOR FREE... as long as they buy me a plane ticket to wherever they live.

Thinking that would probably just result in 30 plane tickets to Oklahoma City though so maybe not such a good idea...

So it seems Harold Camping's latest prediction that the world will end Saturday, May 21, 2011, is proving to be false.
The deadline for the apocalypse passed in the Pacific islands, New Zealand and Australia without a bang.
According to the Christian broadcaster, Judgment Day was supposed to bring a massive earthquake, powerful enough to throw open graves, followed by a slow death for all non-believers over the next five months across the globe. He went on to say only 200 million people will be saved and those left behind will die in earthquakes, plagues, and other calamities until Earth is consumed by a fireball on October 21.
This wouldn't be the first time Camping was wrong.
