I worked for OG for a year. Amazing how the most basic Italian dishes are ruined there. I can go to a low grade Italian buffet or the freezer isle of the grocery store for better lasagne, and it is almost impossible to screw up lasagne.

There are a few good dishes on the menu, though, if you know what to look for. The soups, as mentioned earlier, are good. The portobello ravioli is good, and so is the asiago steak pasta. Give those a shot the next time you are dragged there and you can probably enjoy your meal.

Now Popeye's is a chain I wish we had in Sweden. We don't even have KFC...

Here's whatcha gotta do, neug. Next time she asks you if you want to go to the "Olive Garden", don't tell her no...just tell her, "I want to go eat at Archie's house."

Let me explain. I have been a parent for over 30 years now, raising 4. With 4 children and a wife, that makes 5 people bombarding you with questions...usually stupid ones. Sometimes you don't know the answer...and sometimes you know the answer but just don't want to tell it.

My kids learned a long time ago with me that if they ask me a question that has any of the 2 above mentioned characteristics...I simply answer Archie Manning. That is a signal to them to "drop it" because I either don't know or don't want to tell.

I know it sounds stupid, but when you get married and the 2 of you raise 4 children, lots of stupid things will/should happen.

Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

I like this post very much. How right you are. Around my house, instead of "Archie Manning", I say "Canadians". I also use "Canada" and "Canadians" as placeholders for profanity.

Guys, all you have to say is it looks like that alfredo sauce is going
straight to her a**. You'll never see an Olive Garden again.

Proceed at your own risk...
