How can HS teams afford this?

Was reading this on the SI.com webpage: Don Bosco escapes; Trinity joins the prep football elite. - Ben Glicksman - SI.com

and I wonder how HS teams can afford going from Florida to play teams from Caifornia and so on.

Private schools can raise money for their athletic programs and accept private donations. I think it's mostly a battle of uber-successful private schools.
