Awesome hot sauce
Good on eggs, good on Mexican food, good straight out of the bottle.
I'm not a fan of normal Tobasco (don't like it at all), but this is AWESOME. TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce | Products | TABASCO.COM |
Its not bad, but I prefer the original.
Other name brands I like... Texas Pete Franks Crystal (weak but great flavor) Cholula (for mexican dishes) Not a fan of Louisiana Hot Sauce. Its as weak as Crystal, but not as flavorful. |
There's another one (has an iguana on it) that is good too.

My whole life I've always been a big Tabasco fan... but for whatever reason, I find myself slowly moving away from it. If I didn't buy in bulk, I probably would be using Crystal right now.

FYI: If you want to make a great salad dressing take half ranch and roughly 3/4 tabasco or however strong you like it. My wife is a yankie and loves it. She liked it so much I had to ask the waiter at this Cajun eatery how to make it. The place is owned by a Paul Prudommme relative.

IDK, always liked the McIlhenny's original but gravitated towards using it more for cooking, chili & eggs, when I discovered Frank's and Cholula which I thought was milder and made better hot wings. I like the salad dressing idea and will use original Tabasco for that ..... sounds like a great remoulade!
This new flavor sounds promising, it's on the shopping list ..... the whole 'chipotle' movement overall has me a bit ..... perplexed? ..... everything is going 'chipotle', I have to wonder if I'm getting the benefit of a real 'chipotle' experience with some products, not tabasco, but others. |
Yucatan Sunshine is pretty good stuff!! I like Louisiana hot sauce in tomato juice or V-8.

I love the stuff.
