Totally agree people don't know what the hell they are talking about when it comes to California!!!

Being Military I lived in a lot of places and So Cal is by far the best place in the US to live.

So Cal is a world away from Nor Cal. Anybody that says I don't know what I'm talking about is welcome to fire up a discussion.

While there are many things to love about California, and even Northern California, San Francisco proper and the surrounding area is like moving to another ****ing planet.

I'm from the south so I expected some cultural differences...but I didn't think I was moving to Mars. I've been here almost three years. When I tell you there is thuggery all over the 'bay area' I mean it and it wouldn't be too difficult to prove. Oakland has become such a war zone that even the gang members are leaving. That's the plain and simple truth.
