You're reaching for straws Cat. I guarantee that if come to the Super Dome wearing a 9ers jersey you'll have a completely different experience. And yourself the trouble of trying to dig up garbage to contrary. The instances that people have reported are isolated and mild in comparison. Thuggery is not tolerated in the Dome either by fans or law enforcement.

I KNOW New Orleans and the area has bad crime. It is out of control.
We know that. For the size and population, New Orleans is far easier to maintain than , lets say, the Bay area. For the geographic size and population size, there should be a better handle on crime in N.O. and surrounding areas.
Our courts, the do nothing judges, and system there does very little with criminals.
We know that since Hurricane Katrina, the "bad element" has spread itself out. the Halloween, 2011 shooting in the qrtrs. was awful. That Chris Owens club needs to close. I hope that TPTB(the powers that be), such as Mayor Landrieu, French Qrtr. Assocs. and others tackle these things.

Like Boutte said, in the Dome, any fans wearing any NFL team's clothing, would have a good experience. YES, there are some stupid people in the Dome. I would think and even bet, knowing that N.O. has a bad reputation, is rebuilding , that Saints ' fans would get Dome police, protect the visiting fans, etc. In whatever section, there are enough people to know that this would not be cool for New Orleans and the Superdome and the Saints and fans.
There is the difference.
