I always said this is why the MMA is so big. They took alot of the violence out of boxing and people lost interest.

We as people want to see "Blood". The Rome Coliseum wasn't filled to capacity daily for nothing; during the gladiator games. The reality of life, death, success and pain has to be seen "Live in Technicolor". The masses want to see the bone breaking hits. WR/QB/RB or whoever; get helped off the field. I know, I know... it is a "sicken" "sad" state of affairs, but it's the truth. Lets face it. Who wants to watch "Flag" or "Touch" Football? |
