March Madness anyone?

Now that the teams have been selected, anyone in for a little 'March Madness'?

They're running a 'Tourney Pick-em' promotion on Yahoo Sports: College Basketball Tournament Pick'em - Yahoo! Sports

You can fill out a bracket in support of The Drew Brees Dream Foundation: College Basketball Tournament Pick'em - Yahoo! Sports

... and/or we could start our own 'Black&Gold.com' group and everyone fill out a bracket under your user/member name : College Basketball Tournament Pick'em - Yahoo! Sports - Group Directory

Might be fun, provide a little distraction from 'Bountygate', and you gotta' do something in the offseason ...

Michigan, Michigan State, University of Detroit ... and they're all on at basically the same time Friday night ... UofM makes it to the Sweet 16, MSU goes to the Final Four, UofD gets shellacked by Kansas.

Sappers predictions:

Southern Miss beats Kansas St and then upsets Cuse (The 1st Topseed to be put out).

Man don't I know what you mean. I was a certifiable baseball nut through my teens and twenties - nearly went to try out for the Braves and Astos but chickened out (LOL). There was a time when I checked off EVERY Braves game on TBS. When Skip passed it lost a lot of it's luster - I'd listened to him for so many years it just wasn't right without him.

There was a time when my ass hit the couch in time for the pre-game shows and there I stayed for 6+ hours EVERY Sunday. Then it got to making sure I saw the SAINTS game if nothing else...now I record and watch later as many as I watch 'live'.

I was never much into basketball until March Madness or the playoffs in the NBA. Same with Hockey. Now, with kids, I'm just not vested in it anymore. The Saints winning the Super Bowl really took a lot of the pressure off. LOL If TBS still aired all the Braves games I'm sure I'd watch more baseball than I do. I'm going to try to get into the A's this season...but with kids I'll never be the team encyclopedia I once was for the Braves.

Ok, I took Southern Miss to beat Kansas St. (but not to get past Syracuse) in every bracket I filled out ... at your recommendation,

... those #8/#9 games are hard to pick and ruin a lot of brackets.

#8's vs #9's are always killers. Either one could win. Look at who come from the strongest conference in BBall. Thats how the ole Sapper does it.
