Re: Mother loses job to cheer on son and husband’s Little League World Series run
Must not have been a very good job, considering. I can think of twice being in a similiar situation and both times choosing to instead participate in my kid's sports. Ironically, one of the employers had solicited me earlier to sponsor a team, then had issues when I didn't want to work unscheduled, voluntary overtime in order to coach the team.
Anyway, neither job was that spectacular and readily replaceable in the economic climate at the time, so I never regretted my decisions and I still see some of the kids, now in their twenties, and parents from those teams, and I'm glad I didn't let 'em down. Of course, with the way things are today, I probably wouldn't be so careless as to leave a job. |

And now the back story...
After using all her paid time off and sick days, and coming in later 3 of 5 days a week, mom pushed out of her job after requesting more time off.... Sorry guys, the way people lie to my face in business nowadays, I can hardly believe anything anymore. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2 |

Clearly the job wasn't important to her.
