"Sweet Caroline," which is a big fan participation song during games, is being cut because of the lyrics, more specifically the line "touching me, touching you."

Thats just stupid. How can that be offensive to anyone? Talk about taking things out of context. I hope the fans sing it by themselves.

Well when you think about the song. Neil Diamond wrote that song about a very young Caroline Kennedy. Crazy but true.

Weird ... I thought Sandusky preferred "touching me, touching you" with underage boys, not underage Caroline Kennedy ... :)

Yes, the Caroline Kennedy reference...but I think it was more of seeing her, using her then really popular name for the same. I heard of Neil's Sweet Caroline reference.
Neil is no way a child predator. Penn U , dropping this song, a bandaid and overboard as people tend to do sometimes to make a wrong, right. What needed to be done, should have been done at least 10 yrears ago or longer was to open the crime, tell, it, get rid of those, clean house. Those on the inside knew about Sandusky. |
