I thought she did a much better job then Demi Lovato in Game #4, as did most Detroiters ... we like our National Anthem traditional, without 'artist interpretation' when possible, :lol:.

Lovato, "The X Factor" judge and singer, however, really changed it up, adding more vocal runs and using more dramatic pauses. She performed Sunday night. And she performed at the Word Series last year, too.

Both did a decent job, but I favor Deschanel's version.

Zooey is a classic. She's old school. I hate it when they're more interested in singing a scale than the song. Her rendition is just another aspect of her overall fantasticness.
