Companions For Heroes (Please Read!)
For those who don't know, I do a little volunteer work with the Companion Animal Alliance in Baton Rouge. This Veteran's Day weekend they're beginning a partnership with the Companions For Heroes program.
This program provides shelter dogs to eligible military, first responders and their spouses. Adopting families will receive full reimbursement for the adoption cost, animal health insurance for one year, a gift card for pet supplies, and training assistance if needed.
