This governor dude is crazy. I can only figure he killed the National Guard soldiers because he didn't want any threats to his authority. Same reason he turned on Merle.

I think that Rick's group get's involved in getting Daryl and Merle out of their jam. They are not going to leave him behind.

The Governor is kinda' like the 'Anti-Christ' to me. He, Daryl & Merle are going to figure prominently in next seasons script. You got 'til February to catch up, mon ami. Get viewing!
