The Walking Dead - SPOILER ALERT!!!

DON'T READ ON IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE AND WANT TO WATCH IT YOURSELF

Can anyone else believe the cliffhanger they left it on? I mean daryl and merle are probably going to end up in one of them crazy duels where all the walkers surround them.
Season 3 was fantastic from start to the mid season break, I just can't physically wait until february to find out what happens.

Let me know what you think

Re: The Walking Dead - SPOILER ALERT!!!

That's exactly what I thought! At first I thought it was going to be right then & there, but then I realized they weren't set-up for it, arena-wise, like in the previous walker/wwf smackdown episode.

Couple observations in the 'sneak-peak' as well ... I think I saw Daryl in the woods, so whatever is going to happen, I think he makes it out of whatever jam he finds himself in with Merle. Also saw Beth give Rick a kiss on the cheek ... I find this significant because in the mid-season finale we saw that mousy convict coming onto Beth, so they let us know she's 17 & becoming an adult ... we also saw young Carl turning into a jr. bad-ass and he's had a connection to Beth all season ... in light of that kiss in the sneak-peek, I'm predicting Rick becomes somehow involved with Beth to the extent it causes some sort of conflict with his son, Carl, in Season 4 ... how's that for intrigue, eh? The Governor will be attacking the prison also, someone's gotta' off that m'fer ... February can't come soon enough, .

The points I highlighted in bold are the ones I found most interesting and the ones i'm looking forward to seeing if they happen

When i saw daryl in the woods I was likew phew, because he's my favourite character and has been since the middle of season 2 when they gave him more feature time.
I especially like the point you raised about Carl, in season 2 I was hoping a walker would get him with the amount of crap he pulled, but he has turned into a right badass
The thing that makes me think your right on the part of Carl and Rick being draw further away is when Carl ran down to help the new comers to the prison and how blunt he was, there was no messing around with him, he made the rules, without any hesitation he tried to kill that woman who had been bit.

I personally think Merle and Daryl will work together to get out, in the sneak peak of the next episode i saw glenn shouting WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE?? which i think is merle coming to the prison with daryl

On another note - Glenn doesn't take any prisoners at all, he mashed that walker up whilst strapped to a chair, then used it bones as knives lmao

Totally agree with all the points you made

Re: The Walking Dead - SPOILER ALERT!!!

Yeah, Daryl has evolved into probably my favorite character too. At first I didn't like him much, but he grows on you, .

I think Rick & Carl are going to have the standard young buck/old bull power struggle. Rick left Carl basically in charge while he went to get Glenn/Maggie and like you pointed out, Carl stepped up to the plate & took charge. He's feeling his oats & looking to establish himself as a contributing member of the group, ie taking off to find medicines, et... previously, and I think, deep down, they're building a resentment in him towards Rick that's going to boil over ... kids!, whatta' you going to do?, .

I hope they don't bring Merle to the prison, but that would add to the suspense ... the anyomosity between him & Glenn/Maggie will be intense.

Yeah just before sophia (carols daughters) went missing I started thinking Daryl is my favourite character, saved everyone countless times and he was the only one that went out to look for sophia, no matter if it was day time or night time

Plus it was nice to see Carol is still alive and the scene where daryl finds here is very well thought out

I was hoping Michonne would kill the governor when she got to her sword, but sure enough andrea (my least favourite character and very annoying) had to show up and put a stop to that lol

I think I might have to go back and watch season 1 and 2 again lol

Re: The Walking Dead - SPOILER ALERT!!!

The conflict yet to come is Merle and Rick. This is gonna get ugly.

I think Carol and Daryl will fire up their relationship and will show Merle where his loyalty's are.

I think these and a couple of others causes Merle's demise. And by ..... DU DU DUUUUUU.... Hershel.

Now, this was a great season. I was shocked about Lori's death. But when Rick found the zombie with the bloated belly; awesome. Disturbing, gross, morbid, insert any other disturbing mental phase you want. I couldn't believe they went there.

We still have the "New Commers" that Carl saved and what role they will play. They will be the determining factor on who wins the fight between the Govenor and Rick's Walkers Killers. I think Andrea will turn the tide and show "Phil" how good of a killer Shane made her.

Can't wait for the 2nd half of the season.

I saw something about a 2-day marathon around New Years, check your local listings.

Really dislike Andrea & wish she'd get bit every episode since way back when they were in the RV ... the Michonne/Andrea/Governor fight scene was one of the best. Carol & Daryl definitely an item ... Herschel kills Merle? That is bizarre, but I can see it as one of those classic 'good vs evil' type deals.

Rick vs Merle, you're right, he obviously had a grudge against Rick during Glen's 'interrogation'.

Best season, I think, so far. It's getting a little more gruesome too, since the scene where Rick found the zombie who ate Lori.

... I never understood what women saw in the afternoon soaps before this, .

Daryl is going to have to kill Merle. Merle and Rick will get to a point where Daryl will have to choose who lives between them. Merle is a evil dude.

Re: The Walking Dead - SPOILER ALERT!!!

Just got around to watching this. Missed the season and had to wait for the marathon before the last episode to get it all recorded so the wife and I could watch it.

Shocked Lori died, but, probably shouldn't be.

This governor dude is crazy. I can only figure he killed the National Guard soldiers because he didn't want any threats to his authority. Same reason he turned on Merle.

I think that Rick's group get's involved in getting Daryl and Merle out of their jam. They are not going to leave him behind.

I'm not a Walking Dead watcher...yet. I have them loaded up on my instant queue on Netflix, though. If you have Netflix, they do have the first two seasons available for instant streaming.
