I do really like the rear end on this new Corvette, looks like a Transformer ... but then, I've always been kind of a 'butt' guy, . |

Re: 2014 Corvette
The day they got in bed with Obama, along with the corrupt Autoworkers Unions, was when I decided I'd never ever own a GM or Chrysler product ever.
Here's my favorite GM/Chrysler joint project, which they haven't built yet, but its coming soon... |

Re: 2014 Corvette
I used to drive nothing but GM, but since the bailout, I bought a couple old Jeeps. It's kinda' Chrysler, but when you get into the nuts & bolts of the auto bailouts, Chrysler was just made more palatable for Fiat to come in and take over, where GM's deal screwed a lot of the suppliers, SE Michigan and the American taxpayer. Ford doesn't really have anything I like or can afford either, at the moment.

Re: 2014 Corvette
Toyota in Huntsville, Hyundai in Montgomery, Honda in Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz in Tuscaloosa.
Baldwin County (SE Alabama) has a megasite available and a car plant is a typical buyer for megasites. So it'll probably be another one in the next few years. The Airplane industry is the one thats about make South Alabama explode economically. |
