IDK, the whole point of the act is lost on me. Around here, we just call it 'graffiti' and clean it off ... unless it's kinda' good and has some artistic merit, in which case, we just leave it. But I guess because it's D.C., it has some deeper, political meaning, eh?
You didnt miss anything brother, there is nothing to miss. I am assuming the Lincoln memorial was a Target of Opportunity for some drunk kids that had some pain on them... Carry went off the deep end and assigned motive that had nothing to do with the action but everything to do with his mental agenda.
