Enjoyed the Post. I've often wondered what the bayous and marshes of SW Louisiana looked like when the group that Beasoliel Broussard led first set foot on the west side of the Atchafalaya.

People went West for Gold and Oil.... As beautiful as those pictures are, they are not going to support much life.
