So get this, I've just moved out of home for the first time and got a house with my girlfriend. The last owners said they were leaving the internet and phone account going and for me to change it over to my name.
Which I promptly tried to do, I then got told that I couldn't just change the name over as I had to create my own account for security reasons (completely understand and completely valid point)

So I rang them on the 17th august and they agreed to set up my new starting internet on the 29th, whilst keeping the previous owners internet running until that date so we could still use it (which the previous owner agreed to)

I then get an email two days later saying "thanks for taking your internet out with us, its due to be set up on the 10TH SEPTEMBER (WTF!!) and your landline will be switched off on the 3rd of september and switched over to your name.

So we've gone from the 29th august for internet to the 10th september without me ever saying a word.

So I ring them, not able to get through to someone who is the same ethnicity as me so naturally there are a few communication problems. They then tell me that I owe £203 and they will be sending the bayliffs round if I do not pay it!!!

When I said i've been in this property a week! they said "are you not Mr wood?" I said no I have told you my name 3 times already.
No apology from them after threatening legal action against me without having the right mind to check they have the right customer on the phone.

In all BT have gave me 3 phone numbers, I have no idea why.

I then got through to someone who is the same ethnicity as me, who had the audacity to say that I am the one confusing them because I keep quoting the wrong phone number when I ring them up, which I said "How am I supposed to know you've gave me 3 numbers!"

So now I have no internet from the 3rd to the 10th, i go on holiday on the 9th and I have no way to watch saints vs falcons unless I use the dreaded C word, "Cancel"
