Electric I presume? They are beautiful smokers but I prefer flame to electric and not putting a wooden smoker with a flame in it around my house.

I searched the internetz.... No pricing, or sales info.

Yea they are electric Oak. He sells the nice ones for 800. They really work very well and maintain a constant heat. The website is being worked on at the moment. He just does them for individuals, more custom than bulk. He can pretty much do whatever you want. Color, wood burning, ect.

Re: Check out these meat smokers made out of wine barrels

I have had both gas and electric smokers and there is a difference in taste and the pink smoke ring is normally absent from electric smokers. Gas/Wood etc produces a combustion gasses that impart flavor and that color on smoked meats. if you notice cold smoked meats like salami etc have no ring, while the ring doesn't add flavor the elements that cause the ring do.

That said, I am somewhat leery of open flame in a wooden enclosure.. LOL
