If I cursed like that in public when I was a kid my mom would have put me in the car in a heartbeat and I could forget any pie that year.

Curse at my mother? If I even thought of raising my voice at my mother or father, I wouldn't be here posting.

My mom had this thing... She would grab me by my upper arm in such a way that I felt finger nails on the inside between my bicep and triceps. If I even felt her getting close to my armpit everything stopped but the motor functions needed to sustain life.
