Vacation Advice

Every summer the wife and I take a trip around our wedding anniversary date (June 25). I was thinking about going to Biloxi this year since its only 6.5 hours from Houston. I was wondering if it was a good place to go? Besides casinos what else is there to do? Think I've narrowed it down to Palace Casino Resort but open to suggestions

What's your budget? You aren't far from Galveston ... have you considered a Carnival cruise?

Its between a cruise and going somewhere in the USA that's less than 12 hours away from the house. I'm trying not to break the bank here

Understood .. San Antonio (Fiesta of Texas, Sea World, Theaters, Alamo), Memphis (Beal St/BBQ) & Dallas (Delaney Plaza, Aquarium) come to mind. These spots are relatively close and shouldn't break the bank.

We spent last summer in San Antonio but thanks for the help, stayed at a "huaunted" hotel and didn't know it until after I booked it

Beach sucks in Biloxi. Keep going east somewhere in the Florida panhandle. Much nicer beaches there. Port Aransas is closer also.
