I just need to rant. So, please bear with me.

WHY do kids; as soon as they reach the age of 18, all of a sudden think they MutherFudPuckin know everything!?!?!:bang: I'm so freaking tired of my daughter's "I know what I'm doing" B.S. I have gotten to the point where it's a (You know what? You want to be an adult... you've got it sister!).

It's just driving me insane!

I'm 18, out of high school, I'm not a kid anymore, I KNOW EVERYTHING!!!!

Went through it with mine, :rolleyes: ... gotta' let 'em make their own mistakes, :neutral: ... protect your wallet. Can't remember exactly how I phrased it, but they generally understood that while they were legally considered "adults" and able to make their own decisions, I was not legally obligated to fund/finance said decisions. Brings 'em back to reality a little bit, makes 'em more prone to consult with you first and you usually only have to cover that first bad decision, ;).

My son made a 33 on the ACT, a perfect score in math, is going to Auburn next year on a full academic scholarship with honors...

My teen kinda is smarter than me. :help:
