this is a discussion within the Everything Else Community Forum; This last season was not good. Watched it. Enjoyed it. But, sometimes, writers get too fond of themselves. The season had a lot of pointless story lines, disjointed time frames, and the complete neglect of characters. They really mailed it ...

And while the comic purists are excited about Negan, love the actor, I'm personally not excited about the future of the show. But, I'll watch.
