Best burger in the area?
I'm always in search of the best of something. Whose got the best burger in your opinion? Take price out of the equation. I know Port of Call is famous and they still have a good burger but it's not what it used to be. They used to be ungodly huge, almost offensively huge but they were awesome. I don't think they are as good as they used to be. I've tried atomic burger in meterie and it was good but it tasted a little "clean" to me. I guess it was the spring mix. Beachcorner can be awesome plus they have little hot ass bartenders cooking them. I have probably had one of the best burgers ever there but they are inconsistent. Give me suggestions

Re: Best burger in the area?
Five Guys is probably the best of the fast food burgers, except for price, but I have gotten burgers in small cafes in places that were slap yo momma good!

High Hat Cafe - always a good choice IMO.
Side note - if you ever visit the Dallas downtown area, Stackhouse makes a serious burger. Limited seating but the food (specifically the hamburgers) are very good. Stackhouse Burgers |

Re: Best burger in the area?
Off topic a bit, but my wife discovered the way to cook burgers that may be the best I've ever had in my life.
We grill them half way to texture them (grill marks), then place them in a covered dish on about 400 deg in the oven until done. The juices drip off the burger with every bite. Good gawd they're awesome!!! And I had to swallow every ounce of my pride to admit that they were better than mine, and I am a freaking grill guru! Oh, and I'll take Steak & Shake over Five Guys all day long. Although if burgers were healthy I'd alternate between Five Guys, Steak & Shake and Whataburger every day of my life. |

Hey Dude
Take a drive across the causeway and grab an N'tini burger at N'tinis in Mandeville. I believe it's made w filet, ground beef and hot sausage. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |
