We cruise all the time. We've been on two 14 day, one 12 day, and have a 10 day coming up out of San Francisco up to Alaska. In all we have spent well over a 100 days cruising and have never experienced any sort of illness issue at all on any of the ships.

As for the case in the OP story, it was a single crew member that had the measles and there wasn't any sort of "outbreak" that I have heard of in the case.
