This conspiracy nut (Jones) is right wing and many of his "stories" eventually make it into the standard echo chamber of less fringe sites. So one could argue that conspiracy theories are where most of these right wing arguments come from.

Not just left wing, that's easy but ones who gen up conspiracies like on the right. Like Infowars.com or Brietbart.com.

I could go on and on and on. There are equally as many conspiracy theories from the left as the right:

• U.S Government Bio-engineered the HIV/AIDS Virus to make money and eradicate the Minority and Homosexual populations
• Jared Lee Loughner is a Tea Party member
• Etc. Etc. Etc.

Here are the problems with ALL of these:

• The people who dream some of this up by connecting dots usually HATE both parties to start with
• Only some are motivated by political affiliation
• Centralized vs. De-centralized: Liberal conspiracies are DE-centralized and rampant in small faction venues like Twitter and on Blogs; conservative conspiracies are centralized (ie. less social media, more central large scale blogs).
• ALEX JONES IS NOT A REPUBLICAN, HE'S AN OPPORTUNIST! The few things I've read from him include equal portions of GOP rhetoric as much as Democrat rhetoric. Whoever is in POWER is a target for jones. I heard about him for the first time after watching his Bohemian Club documentary (which you should watch by the way). Everything I tried to read after that was mostly bull.
• Is Louis Farahkan a Democrat? He voted for Obama, but seriously! Proves my point - he too is an equal opportunity hater.

These people are all on extremes of every scale. But all have a right to free speech.
