Windmills would have to take out an entire species to catch up to the bullshat oil companies have gotten away with since 1913...
That is a fairly narrow view of an industry that provides on top of automotive fuel; plane and helicopter fuel, roads, plastics (the list here is endless), heating, lubricants, and rivals nearly any other industry on employment.

There is no other source of energy that provides as much to mankind through just its byproducts.

What is the significance of 1913?
