Re: Calling all fantasy football enthusiasts!

Just looked back on a post i made last year at draft time

I missed a few last year and was dropped out of the league as i was seriously ill and went MIA as i was pretty much in a induced coma from May to July. So i lost my team. Wasnt bothered by all of them but this one draft made me sad as i had spent of whole offseason dealing players and picks to completley revamp my aging team in a dynasty league

My draft
So on to the draft.
1.08 Dorial Greem-Beckham
1.09 T.J Yeldon
1.11 Jaelen Strong
1.12 Tevin Coleman
2.01 Jameis Winston

Then got sick and looked in on the team halfway through the year to find the ew owner had traded away future picks and at least half of the young players to get aged vets in bad deals. It was like waking up to find Matt Millen was the new Saints GM

Anyway
Looking at my 17 keepers for this year in another league
Overall since 2012 im 40-16 in the regular season ad 5-3 in the playoffs with 3 regular season championships and 2 Bowls

2012 Hate list L Tynes for his negative points costing me the championship and Vernon Davis(I had more points in the runners up bracket than the winner)

2013 Hate list Alex Smith,Reggie Bush and VERNON DAVIS for their 0.75 combined points in the bowl game

2014 and 2015 Championship

So my 17 Keepers

Phillip Rivers

Jeremy Hill
LeSean McCoy
DeMarco Murray
Le'Veon Bell
CJ Anderson
David Johnson
Todd Gurley

Kelvin Benjamin
Jordy Nelson
Randle Cobb
AJ Green
Mike Evans
Dorial Green-Beckham

Lavonte David

JJ Watt

Marcus Peters

Got to thrw JPP,J Norman,S Anthony,J Strong, A Hurns,W Snead,R Tanehill all back into the pile

"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Re: Calling all fantasy football enthusiasts!

I finished last...meh first time playing but I still won 4 games and didn't spent $50 of the $100. I thought people were over paying for players and I refused to do it. I figured I was going to get killed anyway so I focused on finding a couple of free diamonds in the rough which I did:

1. Michael Thomas
2. Terrell Pryor
3. Cameron Meridith

I can keep 3 so it will be these, but, I may swap Cameron for Russel Wilson who I also have. Tough call. I keep going back and forth and MT and Pryor same bye week....so I need a decent WR to cover down on one of them.

Thanks. I think so as well. Really hard to get a decent RB in my league. Very frustrating when people are paying 3-4 times the value. I refuse to do it. I'm not leaving money on the table this year though. Going to wait for them to blow their coin on RB's and get more good players when they are cashed out. I bet LF goes for $45 or something stupid.

Word is LF is actually very good at catching:

“We thought it was good,” GM Dave Caldwell says of Fournette’s pass-catching, “but it’s actually very good.” He noted that Fournette doesn’t break stride when he catches the ball in the open field, which is another hopeful sign. “His hands are unbelievable,” says Bortles.

I just saw Leonard Fournette catch a pass cleanly. #MythBusters

I'm going to do my best to get him. Almost impossible to find a power RB with this skill. If he catches it in the open he's going to rack up a lot of YAC.

Looks like he's going in the middle of the second round in most of the mocks. NFL has him ranked as the #10 RB.

Just my opinion, he's got a very high ceiling based on his skill set but unfortunately, his floor is pretty low based on how the Jags running game performed last year. I think Fournette's production will hinge a lot on how well the Jags offensive line does.

My league is sick with RBs. Very difficult to get a decent one. I lucked up with Blount last year but that is not going to likely happen again. I will have to pull the trigger on a rookie RB early. WR's I'm good in that dept. Very frustrating because they blow all their money on RBs, paying 2-3 times what they are worth and it messes up the whole league. I'm all about free market but it's just stupid.

I got back at them though. I stashed all the good defenses and kickers for the last 4 games and dumped all my reserves. The games started getting really tight and knocked some of them out the playoffs lol!
